Job summary

BAS HealthCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Wound Care in Fort Mohave, AZ. In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with acute and chronic wounds, including managing hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

The ideal candidate will hold an active APRN license, have strong clinical and procedural skills, and excellent communication abilities. This position offers a Monday-Friday clinical schedule with no weekend or call coverage, along with comprehensive wound care training provided.

Qualifications

• Active APRN license in good standing is required.
• CWOCN certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills are necessary.

The facility features a Healogics‑managed outpatient wound and hyperbaric center with two on‑site hyperbaric chambers, providing comprehensive wound care services to the community.

Job Title

Nurse Practitioner – Wound Care

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with acute and chronic wounds
• Manage patients requiring hyperbaric oxygen therapy
• Perform independent clinical assessments of acute and chronic wounds
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform hands‑on procedures and advanced wound care interventions
• Manage systemic conditions contributing to chronic wounds
• Provide patient and family education to promote healing and prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with experienced nursing staff and physicians for coordinated care
• Provide inpatient wound consultations as needed
• Monday‑Friday clinical schedule with no weekend or call coverage required
• Comprehensive wound care training provided
