Job summary

IHA in Fresno, CA seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for Wound & Hyperbaric Medicine. You will collaborate with physicians and the health care team, providing specialised care for patients with wounds and ostomies, with a high degree of autonomy as a case manager.

The role requires CA RN licensure, 3 years of clinical experience, and current AHA CPR certification. Enterostomal experience and related certifications are preferred; day shift, on-site position.

Description

Reporting to the Supervisor Wound & Hyperbaric, Wound & Hyperbaric Medicine, the RN communicates and collaborates closely with physicians and other members of the health care team to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds and ostomies. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the RN accepts responsibility and accountability for assigned patients as a case manager to plan, implement and evaluate the care for all chronic wound patients. The RN works within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and follows all Paradigm (PMM), wound care and hospital policies and procedures. He/she complies with hospital and nursing philosophy and standards while performing job duties and responsibilities and will demonstrate competence in these key job areas through the ability to perform functions, including, but not limited to, the common examples listed.
