Job summary

Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States. The Registered Nurse (RN) at a Wound Care Center handles patient care and intake/discharge processes, and may serve as Case Manager depending on the setup.

Under the direction of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager, you perform initial assessments, document care plans, and participate in quality initiatives. HBO therapy duties may be assigned after training; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice remains throughout employment.
• BSN degree is preferred by the employer.
• Wound care certification is preferred for this role.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to Wound Care Center patients and manage intake/discharge.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after training.
• May serve as Case Manager for a group of patients as assigned.
• Perform initial nursing assessment and document care plans.
