Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse to assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate wound care for a large patient population. The role emphasizes education for bedside RNs and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates have an ADN, active RN license, CWCN certification, and at least 3 years RN experience with 1 year in wound care. A 40-hour workweek with daytime hours is offered, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires an ADN and active RN licensure.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of start date.
• 3 years as an RN with at least 1 year in wound care RN.
• CWCN certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and establish diagnoses and care plans.
• Observe and evaluate patient responses and safety.
• Design, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with team to improve quality and performance.
• Educate bedside RNs and patients about wound care.
