Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Temple is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Level One Wound Care Team. This hospital-based position trains and assists at multiple campuses. Monday–Friday; start times vary from 7:30a to 8:30a based on department needs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.
• Active Registered Nurse licensure in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 30 days of starting.
• Wound Care Certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with Wound VAC is preferred.

Hospital Based Position. This is a regional position that will train and assist at BSW Memorial, McLane Children's and Continuing Care Hospital.
Monday - Friday (8-hour days) Start time will vary from 7:30a to 8:30am based on department needs

Job Summary

The Wound Care Registered Nurse assesses patients, establishes diagnoses, and creates healthcare plans. They observe and evaluate patient responses. This role ensures patient safety by understanding needs and assisting with encounters.

Qualifications

Qualifications - External

• Completion of an associates degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• BSN Preferred
• A minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.
• Holding an effective Registered Nurse licensure.
• Must have Basic Life Support certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting the job.
