Job summary

Legacy Healthcare LLC in Illinois is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse to support a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The role involves assisting the wound care team, lifting and repositioning residents, and ensuring safety and comfort under nursing supervision.

The facility holds Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for Post-Acute Care and Nursing Care. Applicants must have an unencumbered IL RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of wound care experience.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• CPR certification.
• At least one (1) year of Wound Care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support wound care team and Treatment Doctor under nursing supervision.
• Assist patients with wound care procedures and positioning.
• Observe patient condition changes and maintain a safe environment.
• Provide education to residents and caregivers as directed by Nursing leadership.

As a Wound Care RN, you are instrumental in improving the lives of our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by providing support to the Treatment Doctor and wound care team, assisting the patients with the delivery of wound care services under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, with lifting, turning and repositioning of residents during the delivery of wound care, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license;
• C.P.R. certification.
• At least one (1) year of Wound Care experience is required.
