Qualifications

• RN or LVN with 3 years Long Term Care experience.
• Specialized training in QAPI or QAPI Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct QA programs and activities.
• Develop, implement and coordinate QA and assessment programs to enhance resident care.
• Monitor trends and prepare quality reports for the QAPI committee.
• Develop processes to assess systems of care including clinical care, quality of life, and resident choice.
• Educate based on findings; provide training with IDT.
• Investigate adverse events and implement action plans.
• Oversee infection control program including surveillance and reporting.
• Attend facility in-service training programs (HIPAA, Abuse Prevention, Infection Control).
• Maintain confidentiality and report breaches.
