Encompass Health is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to lead wound care initiatives, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, and educate staff and patients. You will implement treatment plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive hospital-wide wound care education.

The role emphasizes ongoing professional development, collaboration with physicians, and adherence to best practices in wound care within a national inpatient rehabilitation framework.

Qualifications

• RN/Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long‑term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Continuous education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
