Job summary

Encompass Health in Florida is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to oversee wound care services, align with regulatory standards, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans for patients.

You will educate patients, families, and hospital staff on wound care, stay current with advances in wound care, and lead hospital-wide education initiatives across our nationwide inpatient rehab network.

Qualifications

• RN, PT, or OT license/certification required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Ongoing wound care education through seminars or professional organizations is expected.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and autonomous work capability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, and educate patients and families.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques.
