This role focuses on education for staff and families, staying current with wound care advancements, and leading hospital-wide initiatives to improve outcomes in our Florida community.

Qualifications

• RN/PT/OT license required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Continuous wound care education through seminars or professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics and educate patients and families.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on latest wound care techniques.
