Job summary
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to coordinate wound care and improve patient outcomes. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to execute treatment plans and educate patients and families.
We value compassionate professionals with wound care expertise, CPR certification, and at least one year of wound care experience, and you will lead educational initiatives hospital-wide while staying current with the latest wound care
Qualifications
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- Minimum one year wound care experience is required.
- Continuous education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations is required.
- Skills: Effective communication, decision-making, and autonomous work.
Responsibilities
- Oversee wound care services per regulatory standards and physician orders.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to guide wound care treatments.
- Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics and educate patients and families.
- Maintain ongoing education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
