Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to lead our wound care initiatives and ensure high standards of patient care. You will oversee wound care services, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and educate patients, families, and hospital staff on wound care practices, keeping up with the latest techniques and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• RN/PT/OT licensure required for acute rehab settings.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Ongoing wound care education through seminars/professional organizations is required.
• Strong communication and the ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
