Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel seeks a Wound Program Coordinator to lead our wound care efforts. You will coordinate wound care services, guide clinical teams on treatment plans, and educate patients and families about wounds and wound care.

You will participate in hospital-wide wound care education initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and stay current with the latest wound care techniques to improve patient outcomes and experiences.

Qualifications

• License: RN, PT, or OT for acute rehab; RN for long-term care.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum one year wound care experience is required.
• Ongoing education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
