Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to oversee wound care services, ensure regulatory alignment, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes educating patients, families, and hospital staff on wound care practices while staying current with the latest techniques.

You will lead program development and continual education initiatives to elevate standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• RN, PT, or OT licensure required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Continuous education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations is required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
