Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Tampa, FL is seeking a Wound Care Physician to join our no-call, Monday–Friday practice. This role offers full-time or part-time options with leadership opportunities in wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities.

You’ll perform hands-on procedures and manage patient healing with strong clinical autonomy. We welcome physicians from all specialties; no prior wound care experience required as comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Residency completed; board certification/eligibility not required; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non‑healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post‑acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
