Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Nashville, TN is seeking physicians of all specialties to work as wound care physicians, leading wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. The role offers a no-call Monday–Friday schedule with hands-on procedures and the potential for substantial earnings as an independent contractor.

Full-time or part-time options are available, and you will receive comprehensive wound care training with modern documentation tools to streamline admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome physicians from all specialties. Completed residency and board certification/eligibility are not required. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
