Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Houston, TX is seeking a Wound Care Physician to lead wound care initiatives across facilities. This role offers a no‑call, Monday–Friday lifestyle with flexible full-time or part-time options and hands-on procedures.

You will perform debridement and manage chronic wounds, working with skilled nursing facilities to follow patients through healing. Compensation includes per‑patient and per‑procedure pay with quarterly bonuses and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome physicians from all specialties. Residency and board certification/eligibility are not required; comprehensive wound care training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing.
