Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Memphis, TN is seeking a Wound Care Physician to provide specialized wound care with no-night call boundaries. The role supports independence with hands-on debridement and advanced dressings in a collaborative post-acute setting.

Full- or part-time positions are available; training is provided. Licensure in the state and a valid DEA license are required or obtainable, with a compassionate, patient-focused practice in a growing network.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• Active or eligible DEA license.

Wound Care Physician Salary & Compensation

• Full-Time Average Annual Earnings: $250,000 - $500,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
• High Achievers: Top performers earn $500,000+ through performance bonuses
• Pay Structure: Per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs

Wound Care Physician Schedule

• Part-Time: 2-3 days per week
• Full-Time: 4-5 days per week

Wound Care Physician Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
• Open Background: We welcome physicians from all specialties. Completed residency and board certification/eligibility are not required. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training
