Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking physicians in Birmingham, AL to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. No-call, Monday–Friday schedule with opportunities for part-time or full-time work, and comprehensive training are offered.

Wound Care Physician Salary & Compensation

• Full-Time Average Annual Earnings: $250,000-$500,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
• High Achievers: Top performers earn $500,000+ through performance bonuses
• Pay Structure: Per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs

Wound Care Physician Schedule

• Part-Time: 2-3 days per week
• Full-Time: 4-5 days per week

Wound Care Physician Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
