Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Wound Care Physician in Lufkin, TX to provide expert care with a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule. The role offers full-time or part-time options and includes hands-on debridement and bedside procedures, with comprehensive wound training provided.

You will evaluate and treat chronic wounds, use advanced dressings, and collaborate across post-acute settings to ensure patient healing. An unrestricted medical license is required.

• Full-Time Average Annual Earnings: $250,000 - $500,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)

Wound Care Physician Schedule

We offer consistent weekday schedules with no nights or weekends, in part-time or full-time options:

• Part-Time: 2-3 days per week

Wound Care Physician Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
• Open Background: We welcome physicians from all specialties. Completed residency and board certification/eligibility are not required. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training
