Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Baltimore, MD is hiring Wound Care Physicians to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules with a no-call Monday–Friday lifestyle and competitive compensation.

Physicians from any specialty are welcome; you will perform debridement, manage chronic wounds, and follow patients through healing with autonomous clinical decision-making. Comprehensive wound care training is provided.

Qualifications

• Residency completed; board certification not required for this role; wound care training provided.

Full-Time Average Annual Earnings: $250,000-$500,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)

High Achievers: Top performers earn $500,000+ through performance bonuses

Pay Structure: Per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs

Wound Care Physician Schedule

We offer consistent weekday schedules with no nights or weekends, in part-time or full-time options:

• Part-Time: 2-3 days per week
• Full-Time: 4-5 days per week

Wound Care Physician Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
• Open Background: We welcome physicians from all specialties. Completed residency and board certification/eligibility are not required. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training
