Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a per diem Wound Care Physician to join a large, multi-campus health system in the Northeastern US.

The role involves providing specialized wound care services across 9 outpatient centers and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and hyperbaric technicians. The ideal candidate is board-certified in one of several surgical or medical specialties, with HBOP certification required on hire and CWSP within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care across the department's network of centers.
• Collaborate with wound care providers, APs, RNs and hyperbaric technicians.
• Participate in teaching, research and quality improvement initiatives.

St. Luke's University Health Network, the region's largest, most established health system, a major teaching hospital, and one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals is seeking a per diem Wound Care Physician.

An ideal candidate would be Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery or Plastic Surgery. HBOP Certification is required upon hire. CWSP certification required within the first six months of hire.

About the Department:

• Robust 16 Campus Network spread over a diverse geographic area.
• 9 Outpatient Wound Care Centers throughout Northeast PA and NJ, 5 of which provide hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
• The Wound Care physician will work collaboratively with other wound care providers and advanced practitioners, clinical coordinators, registered nurses and hyperbaric technicians.
• Specialist Support consists of Podiatry, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Infectious Disease
