Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Wound Care Physician in San Jose, CA to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call M–F schedule and the opportunity to perform debridement and bedside procedures with comprehensive training provided.

Open to physicians from any specialty; part-time or full-time options available. Benefits include autonomy, patient follow-through, and a focus on healing in the post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligible to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing.
