Arcadia Care seeks a Wound Nurse to deliver primary skin care to residents under physician and DON supervision. The role emphasizes treatment and therapy of skin disorders and requires active LPN/RN licensure and CPR certification in Illinois.

The nurse will collaborate with nurses and physicians, assess residents, manage wounds, and contribute to rehabilitation and preventative skin health. This on-site Springfield, IL position offers full-time hours and a supportive care team.

Qualifications

• Must have active LPN or RN license in good standing in Illinois.
• Wound Certification from an accredited program preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Confer with the Director of Nursing and other licensed staff about residents' dermatologic conditions.
• Examine residents and records to determine when referral to a physician is necessary.
• Perform assessments using observation, inspection, and palpation.
• Initiate referrals and respond to requests from residents, families, or staff.
• Identify and treat skin disorders and related lesions.
• Assist in resident rehabilitation activities and monitor PT outcomes when needed.
• Provide preventative care and nutrition guidance related to skin health.
• Document and report status and recommendations to physicians and leaders.
