Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Wound Care/Treatment Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide routine wound care evaluation, management and treatments in accordance with established protocols. The role requires strong communication, documentation skills and collaboration with a wound care doctor and care team.

Eligible candidates must hold an active NC RN or LPN license, have wound care or long-term care experience, and be willing to work every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Willing to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine wound care evaluation, management and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare and maintain patient records and charting with basic computer skills.
• Educate patients about wound healing procedures.
• Interact professionally with patients, families and clinical staff.
• Maintain wound care equipment and participate in safety and quality programs.
• Work closely with the wound care doctor on a weekly basis.
