Job summary

RestorixHealth seeks a Full Time Registered Nurse – Floater to join our wound care team in Waterloo, IA. You will apply nursing process and evidence-based practice to deliver patient care, adjusting to changing conditions and priorities throughout shifts.

Eligible candidates will hold an RN license with CPR certification; wound care experience is preferred but training is provided. Expect collaboration across disciplines and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing; BSN may be required for Magnet Hospitals.
• Valid RN license.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with wound care; will train.
• Experience with billing and coding preferred.

• Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.

Our Wound Care Registered Nurses (will train) are the heart and soul behind what we do. Utilizing the Nursing Process, the RN plans, implements, directs and evaluatespatient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The Wound Care Nurse works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit. Additionally, the RN prioritizes nursing actions and will implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames. Ongoing training will provide you the tools to be successful in your role.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals
• ValidRegistered Nursing license required
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
• Prior experience working with wound care patients (Will train)
• Prior experience with billing and coding preferred
