Job summary

RestorixHealth is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our team. You will provide patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice, recognizing changes in patient conditions and prioritizing actions accordingly.

The role emphasizes education for patients and families on wound care while collaborating with the care team. Training will be provided; magnet hospitals require BSN for advancement, and CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred for Magnet Hospitals.
• Valid Registered Nursing license required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Prior experience working with wound care patients (will train).
• Prior experience with billing and coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs and acuity.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.

Our Wound Care Registered Nurses (will train) are the heart and soul behind what we do. Utilizing the Nursing Process, the RN plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The Wound Care Nurse works collaboratively with all other disciplines on the assigned unit. Additionally, the RN prioritizes nursing actions and will implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames. Ongoing training will provide you with the tools to be successful in your role.

What You’ll Do
