The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in Mississippi, current Wound Care Certification, CPR certification, and 1–2 years of wound care experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure active in the state of employment.
• Current Wound Care Certification and CPR certification.
• 1–2 years wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between physicians and nursing staff for wound care.
• Develop and implement wound care programs aligned with guidelines.
• Provide staff education on wound care best practices.
• Implement policies ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Assess, treat, and monitor residents' wounds as ordered.
• Create individualized treatment plans to promote healing.
• Maintain ongoing physician communications for updates.
• Support regulatory readiness during surveys.
