Care Pavilion in Philadelphia is seeking a dedicated RN Wound Care Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing, physicians, and unit managers to deliver high-quality wound care to residents in a combined acute and long-term care setting.
The role requires a PA Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, a Wound Care Certification, and at least three years of wound care experience in a long-term care environment.
The Would Care Nurse, R.N. communicates and collaborates closely with the Director of Nursing, physicians, Unit Managers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide consistent quality care to those patients and residents with wounds. They also work closely with the Director of Staff Development, Infection Prevention and Control Officer as well as the Quality Improvement team to ensure that all nursing staff is educated in the principles of wound prevention and treatment. The Wound Care Nurse implements treatment modalities as assigned.
