Job summary

Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center in Lakeland, FL is seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse RN to lead wound management, develop care plans, and drive positive resident outcomes in a supportive, team-focused facility.

The role requires an active Florida RN license, Wound Care and Infection Control certifications, and a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience; full-time schedule 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• Wound Care Certification required.
• Infection Control Certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor wounds and track healing progress.
• Develop and implement wound treatment plans with physicians.

Breezy Hills is seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse RN to provide exceptional wound management and support positive resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor existing and newly developed wounds.
• Develop and implement wound treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Lead weekly wound rounds and track wound progress.
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes or lack of improvement.
• Ensure proper wound care and dressing-change techniques.
• Provide wound care education and staff in-service training.
• Complete Quality Assurance reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support compliance with wound care standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license.
• Wound Care Certification.
• Infection Control Certification.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; skilled nursing experience preferred.
