Job summary

Sylvan Shores Health & Wellness is seeking a Wound Nurse - Treatment Nurse (RN or LVN) for a part-time role. The position covers every other weekend, supporting wound care and general resident services in our facility.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN or LVN license (or Compact State license) and has experience in long-term care or skilled nursing. Certification as a Wound Care/Treatment Nurse is preferred to ensure expert patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid LVN or RN nursing license, or license from a Compact Party State.
• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing is a plus; healthcare experience is a must.
• Certified Wound Care/Treatment Nurse credentials required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take appropriate action to assure adequate staffing to provide resident care.
• Participate in coaching/discipline, hiring and termination decisions of direct care staff.
• Supervise and assess resident care and take appropriate action.
• Implement Community procedures to provide resident care.
