Job summary

The Villa At Mountain View in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Treatment Nurse (RN/LVN) to oversee wound care for residents and supervise care provided by CNAs, ensuring adherence to care standards and licensure requirements.

Responsibilities include assessing wounds, implementing care plans, administering treatments, and coordinating with physicians. Previous wound care knowledge and an active RN or LVN license are required, with a preference for at least one year in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current and valid RN/LVN license for the state.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term or health care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of wound care treatments and dressings.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, treat, and document residents' wounds.
• Coordinate with CNA staff and care plans to promote wound healing.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Notify attending physician and family of significant changes in condition.
• Ensure safety and quality in wound care and documentation.
