Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in El Campo, TX is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct nursing care under supervision and follow the resident’s plan of care under physician orders.

The ideal candidate has an active Texas LVN license, 2 years plus in long-term care preferred, and familiarity with rehabilitative nursing. Strong leadership and computer skills are required to help maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered LVN license in Texas.
• 2 years’ Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• 6 months of rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational skills and professional attitude.
• Proficiency with facility policies and procedures and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a RN or physician.
• Deliver care to residents according to the plan of care and physician orders.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures and report PHI concerns.
• Do not disclose residents’ protected health information and report violations.
• Make rounds to ensure nursing staff perform at acceptable standards.
• Oversee nurse aides and communicate with staff to maintain department operations.
