Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Weekend Wound Care Nurse to join our skilled nursing team. You will deliver direct nursing care, develop and evaluate care plans, and coordinate with other services to maintain residents' wellbeing.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN or LVN license in Texas, with 2 years in long-term care and familiarity with PointClickCare. CPR certification and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN or LVN license in the state.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years' long-term care experience preferred.
• 6 months rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per nurse practice act and physician orders.
• Develop and implement residents' plans of care.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Perform daily rounds and supervise staff assignments.
• Respond to emergencies with CPR as required.
• Maintain patient privacy and dignity.
