Job summary

The Lodge at Rocky Mount Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Wound Care/Treatment Nurse to join our team of caregivers in North Carolina. You will assess skin changes, develop plans of care, implement orders, and monitor progress of specialized wound conditions.

Wound care certification is preferred and prior wound care experience is required. You will supervise LPNs and nursing assistants, educate staff, and coordinate communication with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Valid State Nursing licensure required. RN Preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents with skin wounds and develop care plans.
• Administer wound care treatments and document progress.
• Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Communicate changes with physicians and families.
• Educate patients and families on wound care and prevention.
• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and care planning.
