Job summary

Avantara Chicago Ridge is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to join our compassionate, skilled nursing team in Chicago Ridge, IL. You will support wound care delivery under supervision of nursing leadership, assist with patient handling, and monitor residents to ensure safety and quality care.

Qualifications include an unencumbered Illinois nursing license and CPR certification; 1 year wound care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered IL nursing license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and assist with wound care under supervision of the Nursing leadership.
• Support Treatment Doctor and wound care team to deliver care.
• Assist residents with lifting, turning and repositioning during wound care.
• Observe changes in resident condition and maintain a safe environment.
• Contribute to ongoing education and quality care.
