Job summary

NHC HealthCare Milan is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our team at 8017 Dogwood Ln, Milan, TN 38358. You will assess wounds, develop care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote healing and comfort for patients.

Current Tennessee license as LPN or RN and current wound care certification (or within 90 days) are required. We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive benefits package based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee LPN or RN license.
• Current wound care certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication and organizational skills.
• Previous wound care or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure accurate patient assessments and coordinated care.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Assess, monitor, and document wounds and healing progress.
• Provide and oversee wound care treatments according to standards and physician orders.
• Maintain open communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Assist with medication administration and treatments as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Perform additional nursing and patient care duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities
