Bay Harbor Post Acute and Healthcare Center is seeking a Wound Care Nurse for a full-time day shift in Maryland. The role focuses on wound assessment, treatment, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to promote healing and resident well-being.

The nurse will provide compassionate, person-centered care, maintain documentation, and ensure HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced long‑term care setting. Wound care certification is preferred, with a competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active LPN or RN license in Maryland.
• Wound Care Certification strongly preferred but not required.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior Wound Care Nurse experience in a long-term care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with nursing standards, physician orders, and care plans.
• Assess, treat, and monitor wounds with sound clinical judgment.
• Deliver wound care treatments based on resident needs and best practices.
• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents, families, and caregivers.
• Offer clinical guidance to nursing and care team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
• Ensure HIPAA and facility policies protect resident confidentiality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support healing and prevention.

Hourly Range: $35.00 – $37.00/hr (Based On Experience & Incentives) ALL INCLUSIVE

(FT Only) Waive all benefits and receive an extra $3.00 an hour!

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
• Ensure resident confidentiality is maintained at all times in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support healing, prevention strategies, and continuity of care.

Qualifications for Wound Care Nurse:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active LPN or RN license in the state of Maryland.
• Wound Care Certification strongly preferred but not required.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a Wound Care Nurse in a nursing home or long-term care setting required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
