AMG Specialty Hospital – Houma is seeking a PRN Wound Care Nurse, RN for All Shifts! The Wound Care Nurse evaluates new and existing inpatient’s wounds and monitors and treats the wound as per treatment policies and procedures. Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting. Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient’s condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Wound Care Certification is required!

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure.
• Current certification of Wound Care.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
