The Blossoms is seeking a Wound Care Coordinator to lead assessment, planning and implementation of wound care for residents, ensuring skin integrity and adherence to policies.
The role requires a current, unencumbered RN license in the state, strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and collaboration with physicians, DON and care staff to promote healing while maintaining dignity.
Duties include rounds, timely peri-care, documentation, infection control and safety compliance.
The Wound Care Coordinator reports to and receives general direction from the Director of Nursing and is responsible for delivering quality wound care and preventative measures to maintain skin integrity to assigned residents in compliance with applicable federal and state guidelines and established policies and procedures.
