Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Graduate of an accredited Master of Nursing Program.
• Must hold APNP license in state of practice and RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in wound care.
• Maintain timely consult schedule and coordinate care with General Surgery physicians and others.
• Develop wound care program protocols and processes.
• Administer medications and treatments per policies and state laws.
• Document wound assessments and treatments accurately and completely.
• Initiate patient care plans and provide patient/family instruction.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and systemwide wound care initiatives.
