Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the wound care team in Grove City, Ohio. This full-time role focuses on comprehensive evaluation and management of acute, chronic, and complex wounds, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).

You will work collaboratively with Mount Carmel Health System and Healogics physicians, nurses, and staff to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at healing and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license and eligibility to practice in Ohio.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board certification as an NP.
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required by the facility.
• Previous experience in wound care, hyperbaric medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or another relevant specialty preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute, chronic, and complex wounds.
• Provide ongoing assessment, treatment, and follow-up of wound care patients.
• Participate in the evaluation and management of patients receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).
• Perform wound assessments and appropriate procedures within the NP's scope of practice.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, hospital staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families regarding wound care, treatment plans, prevention, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation.
• Participate in Healogics training, continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical programs.
• Follow evidence-based guidelines, hospital policies, and Healogics clinical standards.
• Support a patient-centered approach focused on wound healing, improved outcomes, and quality of life.
