Job summary

CareMed Health Solutions is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver specialized wound services to residents in skilled nursing facilities in Arkansas. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to assess wounds, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with facility staff.

The role requires AR NP license, board certification, wound care experience, and comfort with prescribing medications and using wound care products, VACs, and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NP license in Arkansas.
• Board certification required.
• Experience with wound care in long-term care settings.
• Ability to diagnose and treat diabetic, arterial, venous, and mixed wounds.
• Familiar with wound care products and best practices.
• Experience with wound vacs and DME.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care services for long-term care patients in skilled nursing facilities.
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances per AR law.
• Order, review, and follow up with treatments and diagnostics.
• Communicate with nursing home staff about patient changes.
• Collaborate with the primary care physician.
• Coordinate care with the care plan as needed.
