Job summary

Intermountain Health LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in an ambulatory clinic. The role includes gathering patient information, assisting with visits, and communicating with patients by phone and in person.

Full-time, 36 hours/week, Monday–Friday. Requires MA program completion or 1+ year MA experience or Utah RN/LPN license; BLS; basic computer skills; EMR familiarity; and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program OR 1+ year MA experience OR Utah RN/LPN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to start date.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with patients and caregivers to deliver care.
• Ability to protect PHI and patient privacy.
