Job summary

Windsor Rehab and Healthcare Center in Windsor, NC is seeking a Full Time Wound Care Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care and wound management for residents. The role includes updating treatment plans, coordinating with physicians, and supervising care staff.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN or LPN with wound care experience, CPR certified, and committed to resident safety and comfort in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current State License as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• CPR certification required or current.
• Experience in wound care preferred.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and coordinate care plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform skin treatments for Residents and obtain treatment orders from physicians.
• Review and update skin sheets, Braden scale, and care plans weekly.
• Provide supervision to CNA and nursing staff; ensure policy compliance.
• Administer medications within scope and document care accurately.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and care best practices.
