Job summary

Avalon Care Center Federal Way, WA is hiring a Wound Nurse LPN to join our outstanding team. The successful candidate will coordinate the center's wound team, oversee skin management programs, and deliver high-quality wound care.

This full-time role offers a Mon–Fri, 8-hour day schedule with a wage of $40.00–$45.50 per hour. Responsibilities include documenting plans of care, implementing nursing interventions, and ensuring compliance with policies while providing compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current LPN license.
• Recent clinical experience in geriatrics.
• Knowledge of infection control principles and practices.
• Ongoing pursuit of continuing education credits.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the wound team and oversee the skin management program.
• Document problems, goals, and approaches to plans of care.
• Initiate nursing interventions with time frames and evaluate outcomes.
• Revise plans of care based on input from residents and interdisciplinary team.
• Perform nursing activities within LPN/LVN scope and follow policies and procedures.
