Job summary

BCMH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for wound care to join our center on a part-time basis (32 hours per week). Under RN or Provider supervision, you will deliver wound-related nursing care in accordance with center and hospital policies, with emphasis on safety and quality.

A valid Michigan LPN/LVN license and BLS/ CPR certification are required. Two+ years of LPN/LVN experience, including SNF or LTACH settings, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a minimum Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Must have and maintain licensure for LPN/LVN in Michigan.
• Two or more years’ experience as LPN/LVN, including SNF or LTACH experience.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Must have and maintain BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound-related patient care under RN/Provider supervision.
• Assist with intake and discharge.
• Assist with case management under RN direction.
• Gather patient information and necessary equipment.
• Report quality of care issues to Clinical Program Director/Nurse Manager.
• Communicate with team about interventions to ensure quality of care.
• Perform HBOT-related duties after required training and certification.
• Perform other duties as delegated.
