Job summary

Blue Heron Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Wound Care Nurse / Infection Preventionist to lead the facility's infection prevention program and collaborate with clinical leadership. You will drive evidence-based practices, oversee IPCP, and partner with Medical Director and staff to maintain safe patient care.

The role requires RN or LPN nursing credentials, a minimum of three years' nursing experience, and a strong background in infection control and clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Three years of nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid LPN license.
• Strong understanding of safe, effective nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the IPCP and infection prevention program.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate annual IPCP goals and action plans.
• Provide education and guidance on infection control for departments and staff.
• Collaborate with leadership and medical staff to promote infection prevention.
