Job summary

Wyndhurst Health & Rehabilitation seeks an Infection Preventionist/Wound Care Nurse to lead infection control, manage employee health initiatives, and uphold regulatory standards. You will collaborate with departments to improve safety and quality across the facility.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in healthcare, an VA RN license, and a BSN is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and health education software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of healthcare experience.
• Current RN license in VA.
• Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention strategies and programs.
• Oversee employee health initiatives and orientation programs.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate across departments to improve safety and quality.
• Educate staff on infection prevention and control best practices.
