Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-centered care in a structured clinical setting. The nurse will lead teammates, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold standards of care while promoting a healing environment.

Requirements include SC RN licensure or compact state, at least one year of RN experience, and a preferred BSN or enrollment in BSN program within two years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• RN with Associate or Diploma must enroll in BSN within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• Minimum of one year of RN work experience.
• South Carolina RN licensure or compact state license required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Provide patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and professional behavior; participate in governance and professional development.
• Coordinate care, teach health promotion, and evaluate goals and interventions.
